Going digital was a lot more in depth than I ever imagined, and since doing so almost 10 years ago it never ceases to amaze me how far the technology continues to go. Beyond the amazing still-photo categorizing, altering, editing, and compiling, the world of video is now at nearly everyone's fingertips.
This has led me to discover that I enjoy filming almost as much as still photography, and that I in fact love video-editing a LOT more than photo-editing! And since everyone's point & shoots take HD or nearly HD video these days, not to mention the DSLRs that do too, it seems to me there's lots of footage out there just waiting to be turned into something as simple as a succinct YouTube clip, a personal and memorable trip video, or even a full length epic.
Most people who take the time to record a lot of media (videos and pictures) on trips and such often let it go to waste! They post a few pics to Facebook, MAYBE upload a 30-second unedited video to YouTube or worst of all subject friends and family to a herky-jerky cookie-cutter in-person 'slideshow'.
If you take tons of great photos, record lots of video on your point and shoot, DSLR, Flip, etc and have so much of this stuff that you don't know where to begin or what to do with it all, I really can help.
I specialize in professionally done, fully customized, and fully personalized video compilations. Anything from the "basic" slideshow (but with customized and syncopated music of your choosing, photo by photo crops, zooms, edits, titles/subtitles, credits, etc), all the way up to full-blown movies with all the bells and whistles - credits, titles, transitions, interlaced photos, sound editing, narration, time-lapse and other effects, and more - you get the idea. I will work with you to learn a little about you and we can come up with exactly what you're after together. You can be highly involved or leave it to me, however you want to do it. Upon completion I can upload your movie to YouTube, make you a data CD with the digital movie, or even make you a custom DVD of your movie complete with a personalized menu including your own pictures and music.
